We often look to find life in other places besides Jesus. Take a look at what it means to be bound to Christ.

Sometimes it's hard to see what we say we believe actually line up with what we do. James helps us understand that we must first HEAR the Word and be changed which naturally leads to DOING.

We need God's grace to change us from the inside out so we can respond well and follow God through times of suffering and trials.

What type of soil are you? When you hear God speak is your heart hard or does what He says get choked out by other priorities? Or, is your heart ready to hear what God is saying to you?

At the end of the Story of Jonah we find Jonah finally being honest with God... brutally honest in fact. We see though that God doesn't judge Jonah but invites his honesty because of His deep love for Jonah and concern for Jonah's heart.

In Jonah 3 we see God's grace on display. His grace that doesn't hold grudges, that puts us back in the game and that destroys all our categories.

Jonah has been running...and now he returns. In Jonah chapter 2 we find some principles that can help us stop running and return to the Lord.

When we run from God...He comes after us. God sent a storm to wake Jonah up from his downward spiral as he ran from God. God also allows storms in our lives to call us back to Him. We apologize for the audio quality. We are getting things figured out!

In this first talk we will take a quick look at what the deeper heart issue was that caused Jonah to run from God and ask ourselves the questions, "Why do I run and What is the deeper heart issue that keeps me running?"
